Affiliate Program Terms
The ground rules for the Tandem affiliate program. Short version: you earn 20–30% of net customer revenue (a volume tier — 20% up to 100 referrals, 25% to 999, 30% at 1,000+) on every paid invoice for the life of each subscription you refer, paid monthly once the refund window has closed — so there are no clawbacks.

1. Overview
These Affiliate Program Terms (the "Affiliate Terms") govern your participation in the Tandem affiliate program, operated by CC Pty Ltd ("Tandem," "we," "us"). They are in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy; where there is a conflict on an affiliate-specific point, these Affiliate Terms control.
By applying to the program at tandembase.xyz/affiliates, you ("you," "Affiliate") agree to these Affiliate Terms.
2. Commission — 20–30% for life
- Rate. You earn 20–30% of the net customer revenue on each paid invoice generated by a subscription you referred. The rate is a volume tier set by your number of active referred subscriptions — 20% for 1–100, 25% for 101–999, 30% for 1,000+ — and applies to your whole book. "Net" means the amount Tandem actually collects after discounts, taxes, processor fees passed through, credits, and refunds. We may adjust tier thresholds on notice.
- For the life of the subscription. The commission is recurring — you earn it on every qualifying paid invoice for that customer, for as long as their subscription remains active and attributed to you. It is not limited to the first payment.
- Per paid invoice. Commission accrues when an invoice is actually paid, not when it is issued. Unpaid, failed, disputed, or charged-back invoices do not earn commission.
3. How referrals are attributed
When you join, we issue you a unique affiliate code and a shareable link. When a visitor arrives through your link, we store a referral marker in their browser for 90 days. If they start a paid subscription within that window, that subscription is attributed to you and begins earning commission.
Attribution is last-touch and single-affiliate: if a customer arrives through more than one affiliate link, the most recent valid link before signup wins. We may decline or reassign attribution where we have reasonable grounds to believe it was obtained through prohibited conduct (Section 6).
4. Maturation and no clawbacks
A commission is first recorded as accrued. It only becomes payable ("matured") once the refund window for the underlying payment has closed (see our Refund Policy). This means refunds and chargebacks net out before you are paid.
If the underlying payment is refunded or charged back during that window, the related commission is voided before it matures — it is simply never paid. Because we only ever pay matured commissions, there are no clawbacks: we will not reverse, deduct, or invoice back a commission that has already been paid to you.
5. Payout
- Schedule. Payouts are made monthly, covering commissions that have matured since the last payout.
- Method. Payment is manual, sent to the payout method on file for your account (PayPal, bank transfer, or Wise). Keep your payout details accurate — we are not responsible for funds sent to outdated or incorrect details you provided.
- Minimum payout. If your matured, unpaid balance is below the minimum payout threshold (currently US$50) at the time of a monthly run, the balance rolls over and is paid in the next run that clears the minimum. We may adjust the minimum on notice.
- Currency and fees. Payouts are in US dollars. Any third-party transfer or currency-conversion fees charged by the payout provider are your responsibility unless we state otherwise.
- Taxes. You are responsible for any taxes on commissions you earn, and for providing any tax information we are legally required to collect.
6. Prohibited conduct
To keep the program fair, you agree not to:
- Self-refer. You may not use your own affiliate link to subscribe yourself, your own business, or any account you control or substantially benefit from. Self-referrals earn no commission and may result in removal.
- bid on Tandem trademarks or run paid search/ads that impersonate Tandem or imply you are Tandem;
- use spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, misleading claims, fake reviews, cookie-stuffing, forced clicks, or any deceptive placement to generate referrals;
- offer unauthorized rebates, cash-back, or incentives that are not approved in writing;
- place your link on sites with illegal, infringing, hateful, or adult content, or otherwise misrepresent Tandem's features, pricing, or policies.
7. Suspension, pause, and termination
We may pause, suspend, or ban an affiliate account, and withhold or void affected commissions, where we reasonably believe there has been fraud, abuse, self-referral, or a breach of these Affiliate Terms or our Terms of Service.
Either party may leave the program at any time. On termination without cause, commissions that have already matured will be paid in the normal monthly cycle; pending accrued commissions for genuine, compliant referrals continue to mature on the usual schedule. On termination for cause (Section 6), unpaid commissions tied to the prohibited conduct may be voided.
8. Relationship of the parties
You participate as an independent contractor. Nothing here creates an employment, partnership, agency, or joint-venture relationship. You have no authority to make commitments on Tandem's behalf, and you must not represent that you do.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Affiliate Terms, including the commission rate, minimum payout, and attribution window, on reasonable notice. Changes apply to commissions accrued after the change takes effect; they do not reduce commissions that have already matured. Continued participation after an update constitutes acceptance.
